In Where the Road Leads, a solitary ribbon of asphalt winds its way through the lush wilderness of New Zealand’s South Island, tracing a quiet path between river and forest. From above, the landscape unfolds in layers of deep green — dense native bush climbing the valley walls, softened by drifting mist that lingers in the cool mountain air. A braided river flows alongside the road, its pale, glacial waters carving through gravel beds and guiding the eye deeper into the scene.
